This webinar will demonstrate how to correct the FTS spectra of semi-extended sources or sources with known size by using the semi-extended correction tool (SECT), available from HIPE v11.
Introduction to the updates for the SPIRE FTS in HIPE v11.
Different types of sources: how to tell if the source is point-like, fully extended or semi-extended with respect to the FTS beam.
Demonstration of the semi-extended correction tool (SECT) available in HIPE v11.

The following observations will be used for the demonstration:
M82 obsid 1342208389, FTS sparse mode spectroscopy in H+LR, only HR part will be used.
M82 obsid 1342185537 for the photometer map, to be used in the FTS footprint script.
